PSALMS 9 TO 11

PSALM 9: Broken Things

We already have the technology to make creatures much better than ourselves. Smarter. Faster. Stronger. When we are gone and they are left to subdue the universe, will they remember us as gods? Will they think we are superior? Omnipotent? That because we made them it must follow that we also made all of Creation?

Is it so unthinkable that God may turn out to be much more broken than us?

PSALM 10: The African Preacher Man

The African preacher man spoke with a powerful voice and an awesome accent. He told us that despite being neither deserving nor qualified to gain salvation, God has already saved us through Christ.

Given the brief but horrendous clusterfuck we call our lives that the Lord of Hosts has deemed right and proper to burden us with, I think God actually OWES us salvation.

PSALM 11: Karma

There is no such thing as karma. God is unwilling to reward the good and unable to punish the bad. You want a reward? Take what you think you deserve. You want justice? Pull the trigger and blow his head away. No, there is no such thing as karma.
